Can you register with scurs?

Our wonderful buck from champion lines has about 3 inch long scurs. Hes was disbudded. We really want to register him because he has such wonderful potential but if not, we don't want his value to go down. Thanks

We registered and showed goats with scurs. That was with the National Pygmy Goat Association - I don't know about other registries. I'd get on the registry website and see if there's any mention - or just call 'em and ask.

ABGA can be registered with horns. I am not sure about spurs. Most likely you can tho .

Generally, they ask "horned or not" without further detail. Scurs are a problem from dehorning, so not horned technically. However showing would be an issue. Years back, when Boer goats were first imported, you could not reg a dehorned animal.
