Carson has an endearing way of getting my attention. He lays his big head in my lap and rolls his eyes at me.

I crank up the mule and Carson is supremely happy. Down the road we go, to check on the neighbors dogs while they’re gone.
I make him stay while I check on their dogs. Poor Carson, mean ‘ol mommy makes him sit in the mule.
