I have a 2 year old babydoll ewe who doesn’t crouch well to pee, so she always has a brown streak of urine dribble down her backside and one leg. It hasn’t caused a problem before. But today I noticed that there are a couple of bald spots on her pee leg, not inflamed looking, just bare. I imagine this is urine scald? What on earth do I do with her? She gets sheared twice a year - last time was just April 6th.

So sorry, I forgot I never replied here! I read the responses and got stumped a bit, because washing a sheep is not a simple thing 😆. They are easily spooked, very strong and the wool is not easy to wash. I ended up just watching it. She lost the wool down the inside of her leg but the skin never looked irritated. After a bit the wool grew back and has been fine since. So we got lucky. 🙃🙂
