Welcome from the other end of Cali. Sheep and chickens here.
Thank you. My husband is down around the Los Angeles area right now. I wish I could have sheep, goats, cows and pigs. I just don't have the land for them so I decided I am at least going to get chickens for the eggs.

That's the potato I missed last year but oh well at least I know I will have potatoes.

Hey chickens count - they're fun and chicken math is a lot easier with chickens then when applied to sheep! ;)
You might get enough land sometime - ya' never know!

I'm down in north San Diego county.

Free even! ;)
Yup and who doesn't like free. I got a bunch of walking onions from a lady on BYC and I am trying to get some of them turned over to others. I also decided that since I can only really eat the greens from them I would dehydrate some.
